Story
My son and so many others rely on North East Sensory Services to help with the challenges that come with having a sensory issue or disability and they offer opportunities for those with sensory issues to bond with people with similar challenges. They always struggle with funding and I want to give back, after all they have done for us. My son has a visual impairment l, with other visual concerns, and ASD. This group has offered him help with school, bonding with new friends and ongoing support. Without them, we and so many others would find things so much trickier.
I will be taking on two ultra challenges to raise as much funding as possible. They are:
Black Diamond Yr Wyddfa 24 hour Challenge - where I will be solo racing to see how many ascent and descents I can complete of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in 24 hours.
Then I will be doing the Speyside Way Ultra 100km challenge 15th August to finish off.
If you are able to donate, I would be so grateful, as I want to give as much as possible to NESS.
