The Anfield Abseil · 17 May 2025

Families are right at the heart of Rainbow Hub. Based in Mawdesley, Lancashire, we’re a charity providing therapeutic services for children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological condition or brain injury.

Story

At Rainbow Hub NW Ltd, we believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive, especially those with complex needs. Our charity stands out as a beacon of hope, offering a diverse range of services that focus on improving the physical, social, and emotional well-being of these remarkable children. We understand the challenges faced by families navigating this journey; the stress and isolation can be overwhelming. That’s why we provide a picturesque country escape where families can reconnect and find solace together.

This year, I am raising money for the Rainbow Hub - and in turn, I am braving the heights by taking part in the Anfield Abseil on Saturday 17th May 2025, where I will be climbing to the top of the stands before leaning backward over the edge to make a 100ft decent past the famous Liverpool crest.

I will also be hosting a number of other events and activities in the build up to the Abseil and throughout the year so be sure to keep checking back here and on X (Twitter) via @BrianAscroft for updates on those events too.

Whether you can spare a bit of change by signing my sponsorship form, or by donating here on JustGiving, Your support not only fuels the efforts of the Rainbow Hub team, but also sends a powerful message that no family should face these challenges alone. Together, let’s create lasting memories and inspire hope for a brighter tomorrow.
