I am taking part of Claire House Does Strictly event on the 23rd September 2023 to raise money for Claire House hospice.

As many of you know my son Oliver has a life limiting heart condition, hypoplastic left heart syndrome (half a heart) and Oliver also has cerebral palsy.

We were introduced to Claire House at our 20 weeks scan when we found about Oliver’s heart condition.

Claire house have been there for our family through the hardest and darkest days. While Oliver was extremely I’ll on ICU Claire House would be there to guide us through and help us understand all the medical information.

Oliver has recently had respite care at Claire House which was very much needed by our family.

I know many families who have the support of Claire House through their darkest and hardest days and also for respite.

Claire House are part of our family they even came to our wedding to help with Oliver on our special day.

Claire House are like family - they make bringing up Oliver easier and calmer. They're a support network that we never knew we needed.

All of Oliver’s operations are palliative operations, Claire House will be with us every step of Oliver’s life.
