Leaping for Julia’s House – Together! 🪂💙
As I head into my final year as Chair of Julia’s House, I wanted to do something truly memorable – and meaningful – to help raise vital funds for this incredible charity.
To mark his 20th anniversary as CEO, my friend and colleague Martin Edwards is taking on 20 fundraising challenges, each one set by someone who supports our hospice. And I was honoured to set one of them…
A parachute jump. Together. From 15,000 feet.
Yes – Martin and I will be skydiving side-by-side this summer, as part of the 20/20 Challenge, my aim is to raise £5,000 to help fund the care Julia’s House provides to seriously ill children and their families.
Each challenge is tough in its own way – but none as tough as the daily lives of the families we support: 24/7 care, hospital visits, medical crises, and heartbreak. We’re jumping for them – and for the future of this incredible charity.
I’ve already ticked off another big personal goal this year – completing the Edinburgh Marathon on 25th May 🏃♂️ – and now I’m throwing myself out of a plane with Martin!
Please sponsor us if you can – your support means everything. Every donation helps us keep caring for families in their darkest hours, and lets us plan for the future with hope.
Let’s make this leap count.
