Ride for Ryder 2025
Campaign by Sue Ryder (RCN 1052076)
Ride for Ryder is back for its 37th year on Sunday 6th July 2025, with an amazing five routes to choose from.

Story

I have been riding the Ride for Ryder Cotswold Sportive since 2012, when my wife, Annie, was receiving amazing palliative care from the Leckhampton Hospice. Since 2016, I have had the privilege to be a volunteer in developing The Ride into one of the best Cotswold Sportive events. And see cyclist numbers more than double to around 500.

This year, my challenge is to ride the 160Kilometere (100 mile) route, with over 1,800 metres (6,000 feet) of climbing, introduced in 2023.

I aim to raise much needed funds so Sue Ryder can continue providing expert palliative care and bereavement support for patients and families when they need it most.

How Your Donations Help:

£20 could pay for a patient's meals for the day - they are excellent!

£25 could help fund an hour of expert care and help fill another family's final days with love - A priceless gift!

£145 could help pay for a Sue Ryder Nurse, providing expert, compassionate care for a day - Worth their weight in gold!

£600 could help fund 24 hours of expert care so that someone can spend their final days in familiar surroundings, with treasured memories and their family - A gift beyond all measure or value.!

Please sponsor my ride and help me, help the patients and families, Staff and volunteers, past, present and future, at the Leckhampton Hospice.

Thank you

Brian
