Brian Standring is raising money for Alzheimer's Society

SKydive · 24 May 2025

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Alzheimer's Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we can find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

One in three people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. It devastates lives and we're changing that. Together with your HELP, we can give HOPE and vital support to those who badly need it today, we hold decision makers to account and fund ground-breaking research to transform the future for everyone living with dementia

Help us challenge and change the issues faced by people affected by dementia, surely each deserves a diagnoses.1 in 3 people living with dementia do not have a diagnoses. A diagnoses is vital to give people access to the care, treatment and support they desperately need.

This is why I'm skydiving to HELP raise funds to help achieve this challenge by giving HELP to those living with dementia today, and providing HOPE for the future, working towards a country where dementia no longer devastates lives.

Now I focus and reflection for those lovely friends I remember. ALAN, MICHAEL, BARBARA, PAULINE, DAVID and a prayer for those who are living with dementia - S & I, and J.
