Brick by Brick for Grandma

Tom Joyce is raising money for Maggie's Centres
In memory of Grandma - Susan Saxton

Brick by Brick for Grandma · 12 July 2026

Maggie's at St James's University Hospital in Leeds needs your support more than ever. We are here supporting people with cancer who are worried and anxious that their treatment plan might change, and are wondering what coronavirus means for them.

Story

On Sunday 12th July my Dad and I will be fundraising in memory of my Grandma who very sadly passed away in 2025.

Our challenge will be to complete 150 Lego builds in 24 hours. Grandma loved building the Lego I used to buy for her, so we thought this a fitting challenge to undertake in her memory. The 150th build will be of a Lego set I bought her that she unfortunately didn’t have the chance to build.

Any money that we manage to raise will be donated to Maggie’s, a fantastic charity that my Grandma took comfort from when visiting their facilities at St James University Hospital in Leeds. It would be amazing if you might be able to support our fundraising challenge in memory of my Grandma please, ultimately supporting Maggie’s in delivering the services that they provide for people with Cancer, as well as their family and friends.

Maggie's is there to provide free support to anyone with cancer at this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for taking the time to view our challenge and for any support you might be able to give.

Thank you
