This year I will be running the Hampton Court Palace Half Marathon on the anniversary of my dad's passing (24th March). I have also taken the opportunity to push myself further and have signed up to a FULL (!) Marathon in Prague on Sunday 5th May. The training is underway!

I am fundraising for Community Connex (formerly Harrow Mencap), who provide support for people in the local Pinner / Harrow community experiencing social isolation, learning disabilities, autism, mental health problems and more. Community Connex provides a safe space for them to socialise, enjoy creative activities and come more independent (check out their website: https://www.communityconnex.co.uk/).

My dad was a volunteer at Community Connex for many years and was very fond of the community.
