Story
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria.
Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre.
The charity has been chosen as the BECBC 'Charity of the Year' for 2025, as a shadow board we are trying to raise some funds to support their vital work.
The BECBC Shadow Board will collectively aim to walk 1000 miles over the course of the month of March in honour of GNAAS.
