Our Mum, Roda Spyer, found her peace at home, on Tuesday 25th March 2025. The support we all received as a family from the Dorothy House carers at home team was, without exception, support we could not have managed without.

But, as with most things, to be able to provide this much needed help and support for other families, Dorothy House need our continued support.

Our mum's wishes were to have a non attended cremation, this will be respected. If you are able to, our family would ask that instead, consideration be given to sending a donation to Dorothy House. Any donation would be very much appreciated.

The carers, who supported us in being more able to look after mum at home, will forever be known as our "money from heaven', a phrase our Dad would say each time a carer would enter into his home.

As a family, we would take great comfort in knowing that we have been able to contribute to the continuation of Dorothy House, so they can continue to do what they do so brilliantly, to support other families, as they have us, when families need it most.
