In memorium to Bridget Robinson, we have set up this page to accept donations towards MV Balmoral, a ship close to her heart.

From early in her life, spending time with her father, who showed films aboard MV Balmoral, Bridget's love of this pleasure steamer took hold.

Spending her summers volunteering in the gift shop and many a winter on the cold Bristol harbour (and at least once, in it after a little mishap!), getting Balmoral shipshape for the following season. The Bal' centred on much of Bridget's happiest times and it's where she made her closest friends.

I don't think I have seen B move as quickly as when she was on her way to the ship, and even when she was not aboard, she spent many an hour talking about the intricities of her history, the characters she met and worked with; even cracking out blueprints and flags on occasion.

No doubt, her spirit will forever be part of Balmoral, just as Balmoral was part of hers. So it feels only right to fundraise in B's memory, for Balmoral, with the hope of seeing her sail again.
