Team Spartans Bridgnorth Walk

Bridgnorth Spartans is raising money for Shropshire Mental Health Support

Bridgnorth Walk · 4 May 2026

Shropshire Mental Health Support is a local charity that is dedicated to the provision of mental health support to all members of the public. The charity is open 24 hours a day, supporting all levels of mental health needs, from information, support and crisis.

Story

This year, Team Spartans are walking in support of Shropshire Mental Health Support, a local charity providing vital mental health support across our community.

The money we raise will go directly towards services in Bridgnorth and Highley, with new local services launching in April.

This year’s walk also carries special meaning for our club. We will be walking in memory of Adam Rhodes and Lee Taylor Webb, two members of the wider Spartans community who we have sadly lost. Their families have kindly given permission for us to honour them in this way.

While the charity supports everyone, there is a particular focus on strengthening support for men’s mental health — something that matters deeply within rural areas like ours.
