Georgia's Story:-

Over the years I’ve done a few challenges to help raise funds for east Cheshire hospice but this will be my biggest challenge so far. I was asked if I would like to take part in the trek this year and how could I say no. So we are taking on this incredible challenge to raise money to help the hospice to keep doing the amazing work that they do to support more families like mine.

East Cheshire Hospice became our home away from home, our safe place and still continues to be such a massive support to myself and our family. They help people who are facing the most difficult times of their lives. My beautiful husband spent the last weeks of his life at the hospice and it changed everything for us- we were at a point where the reality of what was about to happen, the pain Leon was in and trying to continue to be a family for our little girl was all getting to much and East Cheshire Hospice came to our rescue- the incredible care and support that we received at the hospice allowed us to be the family we needed to be in the last few weeks we had left together. I can never say thank you enough for everything they did for my husband, our baby girl and our whole family. I am doing this event to help to raise vital funds that the hospice need to continue to provide this support to other families who are in the same heartbreaking situation that we were in, so please please donate if you can 🙏🏼 every penny counts 🌻
