Story
I’m very excited to have been selected as part of UK Unit 6: North Scotland to attend the World Scout Jamboree in Gdańsk, Poland, in 2027!
Scouting has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — I joined Beavers when I was just 6 years old — so being chosen to represent the UK at such an amazing international event is a huge honour and a massive adventure.
The World Scout Jamboree is one of the biggest youth events in the world, bringing together tens of thousands of Scouts from all over the globe. It’s all about camping, trying new activities, making lifelong friends, learning leadership skills, and discovering new cultures — all while having an unforgettable experience.
I’m fundraising to help cover my own costs of attending, but it’s about more than just me. As part of the UK contingent, some of my fees go towards helping Scouts from less affluent countries attend, making sure the Jamboree is accessible to young people from all backgrounds, not just those who can afford it.
On 7th June I will be taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk to kick start my fundraising.
Thank you so much for supporting me and being part of my World Scout Jamboree journey — every donation really does make a difference!
