At Bright Futures, we support children and adults with learning disabilities across many homes in the Northwest. One of those homes is Bridgewell, where our colleagues, the people we support, and communities are coming together to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.
When the team at Bridgewell asked people in the community what charity they would like them to raise money for one of their neighbours Irene asked if Bridgewell would consider Parkinson's UK.As her husband Brian sadly passed away after living with Parkinson’s.
Brian and Irene were always part of the Bridgewell community, often stopping to chat with the people we support. Fundraising for Parkinson’s UK in Brian’s memory is a truly meaningful way to honour him and support a cause close to so many hearts.
We’ll be hosting two fundraising events this October open to all:
Sponsored Walk – Monday 6th October, Victoria Park, Warrington WA4 1HN
Community Charity Day – Friday 10th October, The Royal British Legion, Warrington WA4 2TB
