Story
Support Jamie, Jordan and Myles as they aim to run in the Brighton Backyard Ultra.
It’s that time of year again — where they have signed up to do something completely stupid and, once again, question all of their life choices.
This years’ challenge? To run as far as they possibly can at The Brighton Backyard Ultra. This could be 100 miles in 24 hours, 200 miles in 48 hours or it could be them crying into a flapjack at 3am. It’s a 4.1-mile loop. Every hour on the hour until they physically can’t go on.
But whilst the event is a bit mad, and they want to test their limits physically and mentally - we thought that it’d be a great opportunity to raise money for for a local- based charity in Bognor Regis & Chichester.
This year, we’ve chosen to raise money for ‘My Sisters’ House’: a brilliant local charity supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse in our community. They offer vital help — from emergency support to long-term wellbeing services — to those going through some of the toughest moments in life.
Through friends, work and people we know, we’ve heard stories that are heartbreaking and eye-opening. Domestic abuse is far more common than you might think, and it often goes unseen.
That’s why we wanted to use this challenge to do something positive — to support a charity that’s out there making a genuine difference, every day, for people who need it most.
We’d like to support as much as we can and if it means the guys sacrificing their sleep, toenails, and probably their dignity — so be it.
If you can donate, no matter how small, it’ll mean the world to us — and make a real impact for those relying on My Sisters’ House.
Thank you for all the support. Wish their legs (and minds) luck!
