Brigitte Maple's "If you don't ask, you don't get" fundraiser for St Catherine's Hospice Preston.

On the 13th January 2025, our fabulous, kind mum passed away. It was too soon, too quick and we are beyond devastated at the massive loss of this small but mighty woman.
She gave so much love to everyone she crossed paths with but also received so much love in return too.
Our mum created a family that extended far beyond us four children and her legacy lives on through her contributions to the community. Her heart was big enough for everyone.
You also know our mum loved to raise funds for anyone in need, and this never changed. Mum's mantra was "if you don't ask, you don't get"; therefore here is our biggest ask.
Our mum told us last weekend she wished to raise money in her memory for St Catherine’s Hospice. In particular she wanted the money raised to support the incredible care that they provide for patients and families like our Mum and us. St Catherines Hospice provided outstanding care for mum and us during her final days and so we ask for donations to be made here.
As a family we thank you for your kind words and support at this difficult time.
St Catherine's provides palliative and end-of-life care and support for the people of Central Lancashire, through their specialised services at the hospice and in people’s own homes. They help people facing life-shortening conditions like cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure to enjoy the best possible quality of life to the end of life. It costs more than £5m to run their charity every single
year. They rely on the amazing efforts and wonderful generosity of supporters like you to help them raise the funds they need. Thank you!
