Promotes equality and diversity through encouraging provision of access to civic life for those excluded by sensitivity to artificial lighting.

Story

Our Mum has LED sensitivity which means that she has a bad reaction to a lot of the LED lights that we find everywhere. We have to check whether the light is ok for her whenever we go into a new place. She can't go into the hospital because of the lights, and she can't take us into the library to borrow books. We have to guide her through the school reception with her eyes closed. We feel a bit sorry for her but she sometimes finds it quite funny because people don't expect it. She started working for the LightAware charity which helps lots of people who are made sick by LED lights. Please can you sponsor us so we can help these people and to tell other people about light sensitivity.

We are doing the Bath 10km with Action Challenge to raise money. Last year our time was 1hr 40, so we really want to beat our time. Thank you for sponsoring us! Briony and Rosie
