Story
Context
February 24th 2025 will mark the 3 year anniversary since the full scale invasion of Ukraine. It continues to be a desperate situation for all Ukrainians, as Russia continues to target homes, businesses and energy infrastructure.
The UN has estimated that more than 40% of Ukrainians are currently reliant on humanitarian aid. Many Bristol Masons have been great supporters and advocates of this cause, by opening their homes to Ukrainians fleeing the war, or by fundraising or contributing to aid deliveries over the last 3 years.
While there remains a will, there remains a hope for Ukraine to survive this grim assault on their livelihoods and freedoms.
Challenge
FOUR MORE volunteers from the Province have stepped forward to drive a van full of generators from Bristol to Ukraine in February. But, this wonderfully generous gesture now needs your help to purchase 40 generators to fill their van.
For every £200 raised, one generator can be purchased and sent to Ukraine.
If you are in a position to contribute £200 yourself, you can choose to have your name, or your business name, attached to the generator, which we can track to its final recipient. You could also look to fund a generator from your Lodge, and have your Lodge name attached to the package.
Any smaller donations are still hugely valuable and will contribute to generators that go out with "Bristol Masons" on the label.
Every generator will provide essential power to a displaced family or keep frontline troops warm and fed.
By partnering with the fantastic grassroots charity, From Bristol with Love for Ukraine, this continues to be one of the most valuable and tangible ways to help the people of Ukraine in their darkest hour.
Please support this vital cause as you are able.
