Story
Can you help us raise £5000?
We are a team of colleagues from across the UK, raising money for the British Council Ben Fund* by attempting to walk 100km!
What is the challenge?
We’re excited (and nervous!) be taking part in an ultra-walking challenge on 13 and 14 May along the Jurassic Coastal Path in the UK. We will do the 100 km over 36 hours including a night’s stay along the way.
Why?
We are supporting the Ben Fund’s 75th anniversary and want to raise 50p for every metre walked. All donations will go directly to supporting colleagues around the world (past and present), including our former Afghan colleagues, who find themselves facing hard times.
Who is in the team so far?
Catherine Bowden, Andy Williams, Serin Hasan, David Thompson, Amy Griffith, Helena Tinker, Eleanor Hampson, Richard Thomas, Charlie Walker and Louisa Ely.
Your support means a lot to us. Every contribution will help.
Just 50p for each metre!! Wish us luck...
