**AFTER RACE UPDATE**

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who generously donated and raised in total a WHOPPING £1105!!!! Safe to say the £600 target got absolutely smashed! Blue Cross Charity sent me an email with a massive congratulations and thank you for all of the donations as this is going to help them with health checks of 3 abandoned litters of puppies 💔🐾 I just wanted to share with you all the amazing good this is going to do so thank you for supporting and sponsoring me 🥰

I completed the race in under 4 hours 30min (my goal!!) So I am chuffed! I loved it so much I signed up for another next year (if I get in!🤞) so let's see 🥰

I might be mad doing this but... I've decided to run my first ever marathon by joining the Manchester Marathon on 27th April 2025!!

Some people will know I have never been sporty or into exercise and only started Couch to 5km in January 2024! I completed the challenge and ran my first ever 5km in April 2024 and I found a real passion for running. I then ran my first half marathon in September and absolutely loved it and so I decided I want to push myself even further and go for the big run of a full 26 miles! As this is such a big deal to me I thought why not combine two of my loves together and make this marathon extra special by running for animals! I am very lucky as I got a place to run for the amazing charity that is Blue Cross 🐾💙

Anybody that knows me knows how much animals mean to me, and how much I absolutely adore them. I have 2 very special rescue dogs (some right characters haha) and so Blue Cross is a charity that is close to my heart with the help they offer owners and pets! They give animals another chance at life, help owners who may be struggling with veterinary treatments as well as rehoming pets to safe and caring homes ❤️🐾 They really are an amazing charity and all animals deserve proper care, love and safe homes and these help so many pets out there who are in need🐕🐈

Running this marathon is quite a big deal for me (bricking it!!!) and so is making sure I raise as much money and donations as possible for the Blue Cross Charity, so I hope all of my friends and family, and anybody who is a big animal lover like me, would kindly donate as much or as little or share this fundraiser on behalf of me running my first ever marathon next April! 🐾💙
