Story

The Broadwater Youth Centre is an open-access youth centre for young people aged 11-18 years who live within Farncombe/Godalming and surrounding villages. We run 11 sessions a week based within our youth centre at Broadwater Community Centre providing guidance and encouragement to young people within a safe space to support a smooth transition into adulthood.

The Youth Centre offer a varied programme of activities at no cost to the young people following their lead, which has included gardening, embracing environmental concerns and up-cycling.

The Youth Centre, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Godalming Woolsack, is currently creating a well-being garden within a walled area to provide a quiet and reflective area to allow our young people space, tranquillity, and time to think.

The project involves development of the garden through the creation of raised garden beds and the planting of a variety of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

The Rotary Club of Godalming Woolsack club is funding the purchase of the garden furniture but we need additional funds to complete the garden.

The aim is to raise funds from those of you in the community who are willing and able to support others.
