💜 Running for Erin
On the 12th of April, we’ll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in memory of our beautiful friend Erin.
Four years ago, at the age of 19, we lost Erin to cancer, and nothing has ever been the same since. Losing her changed our whole perspective on life, she taught us what true strength and courage looks like.
Nothing we do will ever compare to the fight Erin put up, but we’ll carry her determination and spirit with us every step of the 13.1 miles. This run is for her, to honour her memory, her bravery, and the light she brought into all our lives.
Erin was a crazy, beautiful, and hilarious girl , the kind of person who could make anyone laugh, even on their worst days. She would absolutely think we were “freaks” for doing a half marathon, but we know she’ll be with us cheering us every step of the way and probably laughing at us. She had this incredible ability to bring light to anyone and everyone around her, even when she wasn’t feeling her best. The most loyal friend, and one we miss every single day. We’ll forever be proud to have called her our friend. 💜
We’re raising money for Bone cancer research trust, a cause that means the world to us, to help fund vital research and support others going through what Erin and her family faced. If our efforts can help save even one life, or spare another family from the pain of losing someone they love, it will all be worth it.
Please consider donating or sharing — together, we can make a difference💜
