Christmas 2021 was a true roller coaster of emotions for our family, on 22nd December at what we thought was a very last minute initial appointment we were told she would be having emergency open heart surgery the following Christmas Eve morning. 36 hours later our daughter awoke ready to take the world by storm.
The team at the royal Brompton took amazing care of our family even making sure Elspeth had Christmas presents to open when she woke up on Christmas Day.
In an effort to try and pay back some of the huge debt we owe the Brompton I shall be running in the London landmarks half marathon in April to raise awareness and money for them.
