We use digital technology that men can use to enable them to self-manage and engage with their own mental health. We call it 'Prevention Through Self-Management' because waiting until a man reaches crisis before he gets help is like throwing a lifebuoy ring into the water when already drowning.

Story

Combatting Male Suicide: New Solutions

At Brothers in Arms, our mission is to reduce male suicide. Suicide leads the causes of death for UK men under 45. Every day, 12 men die by suicide. This year, the Scottish Government cut £30 million from the mental health budget, making our service crucial.

We've launched a campaign this January to raise £120,000 over the next 12 months. That's £10,000 per day for each man lost to suicide. This funding will support and develop Blethr, our free digital therapy service. Available on our website, Blethr is free, anonymous, and confidential. No appointments needed, accessible anywhere, anytime. More information about our campaign is available here
