At Brough Yarn bombers we’ve been busy knitting and crocheting green bobble hats to support those who may be cold and lonely this Christmas. Our hat tree is the result and we hope it spreads joy as well as awareness through the community.

Please feel free to donate what you can to Emmaus who work with homeless and disadvantaged people in our area. If you yourself are cold, please feel free to take one of our hats. After Christmas, remaining hats will be donated to Emmaus. Emmaus Hull & East Riding provides a range of services which support people who experience homelessness and social exclusion.

They offer homelessness support at their residential community – The Orchard – and through our rough sleeper outreach service.

Emmaus Hull & East Riding is also engaged in acts of solidarity. Members regularly undertake projects and initiatives to help those in greater need.
