Al and Ste have signed up to their first ever 2 Person Triathlon, twist is that its not your usual Swim Bike Run!!!

Instead its just a matter of a short cycle from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding, transition to boats and take on a 2 mile circular route on the waters of Ullswater, before getting back on the bike for the steepest section to Greenside Mines, pop on the hiking boots for a 7.5mile "jog" up and down Hellvellyn before getting back on the bike back to along the shores of Ullswater

All in aid of the amazing Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity who supports families who have a child with a life-threatening or terminal illness. When a child has a serious illness, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support, for as long as is needed. Rainbow Trust supports the whole family including parents, carers, the unwell child, brothers, sisters and grandparents.
