I have been a volunteer driver for Katharine House Hospice for the past three years and have been deeply moved by all that I have seen there: the purpose built facilities, the ambience, all of the staff and the nature of what they do, how they do it.

The fabulously positive effect that Katharine House has on its patients, friends and relatives is truly a wonder to be behold.

Katharine House provides an all embracing palliative care package, both at the hospice and in the community, to those who need that care exactly when and where it is needed.

Katharine House relies heavily on the local community to help fund the hospice. It costs £16,261 per day to run Katharine House Hospice. Your donation will not only help to fund the clinical costs at the hospice, but also all the extra services that make it such a special place – from bereavement support to art therapies, from relaxation classes to the hospice food and so much more.
