Garden Concert · 8 July 2023

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

I am a neurologist and for many years have been involved with the care of people with multiple sclerosis and in medical research on this condition at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. We have an expert and friendly team of neurology consultants, specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals doing our best to support those affected in our region and beyond.

A concert is a nice way to fund raise and I was inspired in this by a friend of mine who has a chronic neurological disease and did that very effectively last year. We are planning a garden concert on 8th July in Nottingham. For those wanting to attend in person, please contact my wife Sonia and me at bruno_sonia@mail.com. The programme will include both jazz and classical music, played by a mix of local mainly amateur musicians, with a few professionals also involved.

This page is set up particularly for those wanting to contribute, but unlikely to make it in person to the concert (although of course, you would be most welcome to do both).

We are launching our initiative on 30th May 2023, which is World MS Day.
