Over the last several years our family has had the luck to become members of the Frost Valley YMCA camp community. We began sending our sons Logan and Liam to the camp several years ago. At that time we simply knew it as a fantastic Catskills camp in a truly unique and beautiful location that had a wonderful group of campers and families.

Two years I had the opportunity to meet many members of the management and the board of trustees of Frost Valley. I was extremely impressed to learn that the camp is so much more than simply a beautiful summer camp. Frost Valley is also an incredible charitable organization that makes summer camp available to a large number of children that would never otherwise have the opportunity to have the summer camp experience.

Those of you that know our family know that we believe very much in the importance of spending time outdoors away from screens and how beneficial such experiences are for children.

Earlier this year I had the special opportunity to join the Board of Trustees of Frost Valley. I did so enthusiastically so that I could help support the camps important mission.

I am now asking for support from friends, family, co-workers, colleagues, and fellow Catskillers to help me raise funds to provide financial aid for families who cannot otherwise send their children to camp. Yes, based on our idea that every kid deserves two weeks at camp—in our gorgeous mountain valley, under pristine starry night skies, across huge fields for playing and along trails for hiking—Frost Valley provides aid to families in need.
