Bryan's fundraiser for Greater Manchester BloodBikes

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know I am a trustee and rider for Greater Manchester Blood Bikes. This is a charity who through volunteers only provide free transportation of Blood, Plasma, Platelets, Donor Breast Milk, Vaccines, Samples, Medications and other medical supplies for the NHS around Greater Manchester and beyond.
All monies are raised through the kind and generous donations of the public.
What many may not know is I also used to be an avid cyclist until I got an arthritic hip which has stopped me doing fitness for the last 3 years.
I had my hip replaced on 30 Nov 22 and am now in a position to begin my cycling again.
As such I am going to start my fitness whilst trying to raise some much needed funds for Greater Manchester Blood Bikes.
I'm aiming to ride the equivalent mileage as if I did a circular route from the base for North West Air Ambulance (NWAA) to each hospital, hospice, Blood Bank and Milk Bank we support and back to NWAA.
It is around 300 miles which I intend to complete during March whilst fitting in with normal day to day commitments as well as a 4 day shift on the Blood Bikes.
