Hi, I’m Bryn, I’m 14 years old - during June, I completed two challenges to raise money for something that really matters to me.

I tackled both the Cheshire Three Peaks and the Yorkshire Three Peaks—that’s 6 peaks, over 40 miles of hiking, and thousands of feet of climbing… all to help fund a brand-new Scout Hut for the 38th SWC Scouts.

I had never done anything like this before, so it was going to be tough—but I was determined to do my part.

Our current hut is old and no longer fit for purpose. A new hut would mean better facilities, more space, and a safe, welcoming place for our group to meet, learn, and go on adventures. It would benefit loads of young people for years to come—including future Scouts just starting their journey.

I trained hard and pushed myself because Scouting has given me so much—confidence, teamwork skills, great memories—and I wanted to give something back.
