Climbing Mont Blanc · 8 July 2023

We are a Branch of the RSPCA, but also a separately registered charity. Our Animal Centre takes in, cares for and helps rehabilitate cats & dogs that have been rescued from cruelty & neglect by the national RSPCA; whilst we find them new and forever homes

Story

Next on my bucket list is Mont Blanc, if I can raise some cash in the process of climbing it, then why not!?

At 4,807m high, as well as being the highest mountain in France, it’ll be one of the highest mountains I’ve summited so far. And I’ll be climbing the highest mountain in Italy (Gran Paradiso) a few days earlier as a practice run too.

I’m a trustee for RSPCA Southport, Ormskirk and District branch. We serve primarily Merseyside, but generally help out across the NW and even nationwide.

Caring for animals in these centres is expensive, the dogs in particular often have a load of issues and need lots of 1-2-1 care to help them rehabilitate. Please help me throw some dosh at the centre to keep the dogs and cats full of biscuitty goodness and surrounded by squishy toys.

Prayers also welcome for a safe and successful summit- I’m bricking it!
