I'm in active treatment for Breast Cancer right now - your support means the world to me. I was diagnosed in July 2025 with Stage 2 Early Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.

This event begins 7 months after my major surgery - I will continue to have active treatment for a further 29 months and endocrine therapy for 5-10 years.

Breast Cancer Now have provided support to me throughout - books, onine information, helpline staffed by excellent nurses - and of course the research.

To be clear, 500 miles is a group target but I will be doing my best to do my share. We will each be taking part in our own part of the country to raise money for this excellent Breast Cancer Charity.

The event is organised by Graham and Lorraine Burns who have also provided me with tons of support. For those who don't know, our Scottish friend Graham has been fundraising for Breast Cancer Now for years, often whilst singing "500 miles".
