I am swimming 11 miles across Lake Windemere to raise money for Level Water charity!

Level water is a wonderful charity who provide 1:1 specialist swimming lessons for children with disabilities and their families.

In April 2022, we were told our daughter would be born with a physical disability. Nellie was born in August 2023 and we feel like we’ve won the lottery of life every day! Although, navigating life with a disabled child comes with its various challenges and emotions. Nellie struggles with day to day tasks we take for granted.

One thing Nellie loves is swimming! She loves nothing more than to splash her legs about in the pool. She is the most determined, brave and happy little girl.

One child’s swimming lesson costs £15 and there are currently around 1000 children accessing this amazing swimming scheme across the UK today. Every child should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water!
