BSE FG fundraiser for The Farming Community Network

Aimee Rolph is raising money for The Farming Community Network

Climb of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) · 4 June 2026

The Farming Community Network (FCN) is a charity and voluntary organisation that supports farmers and families within the farming community through difficult times, whether the issue is personal or business related. Our confidential national helpline is open every day of the year from 7am-11pm.

Story

6 of us from the Bury St. Edmunds Fisher German office are gearing up to climb Mount Snowdon this summer to raise money for The Farming Community Network (FCN). This will be our second time fundraising for FCN, following last years BIG 25 event to celebrate both FG's 25th and FCN's 30th anniversaries.

Our work with infrastructure projects is closely linked to rural environments and agricultural land. Supporting The Farming Community Network aligns with our dedication to social value and community wellbeing for the farmers who may need additional support. Farmers face increasing pressures — economic, environmental, and social — and by supporting FCN we are helping to ensure those who support the nation’s food security and rural landscapes are not facing those challenges alone. Many within our business have farming links, which means this support is not just professional, but personal, rooted in first‑hand understanding of the realities many farmers face.

We'd be grateful for any support and encouragement whilst we try and raise as much money and awareness as possible!
