Northampton District Scouts are taking part in their Big Sleep Out again in 2026 for those who are homeless and vulnerable in our community.

This year we want to make the event our biggest one yet!

The reason for the sleep out is to experience a simulated night of homelessness in one of the coldest months of the year - February

We want to give participants the most real experience we can. Sleepout for 12 hours, just a sleeping bag and a cardboard/plastic shelter (no tents).

Why donate?

Many people sleep on the streets of Northampton and hundreds more need help feeding themselves on a weekly basis.

With the cost of living climbing every week, these figures see no sign of going down or even stabilizing.

Make 2026 the year that you make a difference to the lives of those who are most vulnerable in our community… Go on, you know you want to.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Northampton Hope Centre.
