Every year, BTG's north west offices vote for which charity we will support for 12 months, and the charity with the most votes was Mentell :)

Mentell are a north west charity providing safe, confidential spaces for men to talk and break the silence surrounding mental health. The tragic loss of local hero Ricky Hatton reminds us that even those who seem strongest can face invisible battles. Too many men suffer in silence, feeling they have nowhere to turn. Mentell offers a vital lifeline, a place to listen, share, and heal.

By backing this cause, we’re helping to break the stigma and ensure every man knows it’s ok to talk, and even stronger to ask for help.

Over the next 12 months, BTG's north west offices will take part in a number of fundraising initiatives such as Christmas Jumper Day, quiz nights, bake offs, Great Manchester Run, and a national charity challenge in summer 2026.
