Pharmacy staff at the Bradford Teaching Hospital Trust will be competing in the Dragon Boat Festival on the 5th of July 2026 to fundraise for the Bradford Hospital Charity.

Bradford Hospitals Charity supports patients, families, and NHS staff by funding projects, equipment, and improvements that go beyond NHS funding. Working alongside Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, it helps enhance healthcare, improve patient experiences, and support the wellbeing of local communities.

Bradford Hospitals Charity’s Neonatal Appeal is raising funds to create a “Home from Home” next to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Bradford Royal Infirmary. The appeal aims to provide free accommodation and support facilities for families with premature or seriously ill babies, including additional en-suite bedrooms, family living spaces, a garden, and play areas for siblings. By helping families stay close to their babies during treatment, the project aims to reduce stress, keep families together, and improve outcomes for newborns receiving specialist care.
