alfie jacobs is raising money for #Willdoes

Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run 2025 · 23 March 2025 ·

#Willdoes is dedicated to the memory of William Paddy, a sporty, charismatic child with a cheeky smile who lived in Swanage, Dorset. His life sadly ended early at aged 14. Will's mother, Les, set up #Willdoes to help young people who may be finding life tough and struggling to cope with daily life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Bournemouth University's Equestrian Society is aiming to raise as much money as they can in support of #WillDoes, a charity to introduce young people to sports and other activities to help them connect and engage socially rather than retreat to more insular gaming and social media pastimes and to develop coping mechanisms to help manage anxiety and emotions, increase self-awareness, developing trust and relationships.

The #Willdoes charity is dedicated to the memory of William Paddy, a sporty, charismatic child with a cheeky smile who grew up near Swanage, Dorset, and enjoyed horse riding, snow boarding, rugby and tennis. A sensitive and empathetic kid, Will loved animals and being surrounded by them. Sadly his life ended early at the age of 14, but his energy lives on through those who knew him and in his charity, #Willdoes.

Two members of our committee are running the vitality bay half marathon on the 23rd of March and any support will benefit such an amazing cause.

Thank you
