For Down Syndrome Awareness week this year, Heidi, Harriet and Lucy will be running the Guildford Junior parkrun on 22 March to raise money for Stepping Stones DS.

The support we’ve received from SSDS over the past eight years has been incredibly valuable to our family, and we’re so grateful for the ongoing support Heidi receives and for the community SSDS has given us.

To help SSDS continue their amazing work supporting our family and others like ours, we’re hoping to raise £250 this Down Syndrome Awareness week. Anything you’re able to give would be hugely appreciated.

This year’s World Down Syndrome Day themes is Never Alone and it reminds us that what truly matters is inclusion, friendship, and community. Our families are joining together to complete the parkrun, celebrating the amazing potential of our young people and the strength we share as a family of families.

It will be a celebration of inclusion, community and potential, everyone can join in, have fun, and make a real difference.
