Mariam Abbas has organised the annual Buggy Walk on the 22nd June at Rouken Glen Park with Aayah Noor Foundation and Islamic Relief UK

We will be raising funds for a Maternal Project in Gaza.

As conditions rapidly deteriorate amid this latest escalation in hostilities, Islamic Relief remains steadfast in our determination to assist Palestinian families. Working closely with our local partners, we are distributing essential items to affected families.

Since October 2023, we have provided over £30 million worth of aid and delivered over 58 million hot meals.

This Ramadan, Islamic Relief is supporting a Maternity project in As Sahaba Hospital in Gaza City and Khair Hospital in Khan Younis. This project aims to:

- Provide birthing services for pregnant women (caesarean or natural birth)

- Provide post natal medical kits

- Provide post natal hygiene Kits

- 2 pregnant & breastfeeding mothers - £1,000

- 1 pregnant & breastfeeding mother - £500

Additionally, Islamic Relief will continue to provide hot meals to Palestinian communities all throughout Ramadan for just £2 per meal.

- 75 people with ready to eat hot meals - £150

- 25 people with ready to eat hot meals - £50
