About BUGS:

BUGS is the support fund for patients treated at Salisbury District Hospital for a burn or scar. Our aim is to support patients while they are on Odstock and Sarum wards and as they move out in to the community as outpatients. We provide information, specialist items and equipment either for individuals or for the ward. Making a stay on the ward and return to daily life a little more comfortable. Funding is also provided for patients to attend day trips and retreats too. Patients come from a large regional area, from Swindon in the north down to Southampton, Portsmouth, Weymouth and across to the Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands.

We are small charitable fund of the Stars Appeal (fund #1223) who assist us with all the back-office activities required legally to run a charitable fund. This means all funds donated to BUGS can be solely used to support patients. All BUGS has achieved since 2000, has only been possible through donations made directly to the BUGS fund.
