Founded more than 50 years ago, Cyrenians works to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness through a preventative and person-centred approach. By addressing issues such as poverty, trauma and social isolation at the earliest opportunity, the charity aims to stop people from becoming homeless in the first place, while also campaigning for long-term change in policy and legislation across Scotland.

With homelessness in Scotland at a record high, and more than 30,000 homelessness applications submitted according to the latest Scottish Government data, Cyrenians continues to provide vital support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

Through its wide range of services and community-led initiatives, the charity helps people access safe housing, build trusted relationships and create more stable futures for themselves and their communities.
