BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES FOR PALESTINIAN ORPHANS

Raising Funds for AMA Tahfeez Centre in Gaza, Palestine for 200 Orphans · 11 April 2023
*NOTE:*
JazākAllāhu Khayrā to all for supporting and donating towards this project. May Allāh SWT bless you and shower you with blessings and His mercy. Āmīn.
The target for this Ramadān was £84,000, to sponsor 200 Palestinian Orphans. Alhamdulillāh, this target was achieved and surpassed on the 27th night of Ramadān.
As people are still eager to donate towards this cause, I have spoken with our charity partner and they have informed me that with the additional donations coming through, they will sponsor even more orphans, InShāAllāh. Therefore, you may continue donating.

In Ramadān 1442/2021, through the mercy of Allāh, and with your generous support, we were able to raise enough funds to build a school for 170 orphaned Palestinian children alongside supporting their basic needs for a full year.

It was always our intention to sustain this project annually through fundraising each Ramadān, so we as an ummah can continue to support orphans who live in the land of the Prophets; the land within which is third most holy site in Islam; Masjid Al-Aqsā.
Alhamdulillāh, in Ramadān 1443/2022, we appealed to you once again and we were once again able to raise the funds needed to support our 170 Palestinian orphans for a further year.
This year, we have been able to create space for an additional 30 orphans, taking the total number of orphans in our care to 200.
Can we come together to build brighter futures for the children of Gaza? Will you support us in empowering Palestinian children through education?
Forced to live under a suffocating blockade, many Palestinians are falling further into poverty. Economic development has been stifled by political instability, constant conflict, the erection of the West Bank barrier and the continuation of blockades in Gaza. Amongst a population of around 4.7 million people, hundreds of thousands of families are struggling with economic hardship. In such conditions, orphans and children are left the most vulnerable. UNICEF estimates that less than 30% of children in Gaza are able to attend an educational institution, simply due to a lack of tuition funds.
At Al Misbaah Academy (AMA), we want to make a positive change in the lives of these children, as we have done so for the children in the U.K. They deserve better. We wish the same for them as we do for own children.
This Ramadān, we are continuing to support a unique project providing 200 Palestinian orphan children with the opportunity to be empowered through education, including the memorisation of the glorious Qur'an.
Zakāt, Sadaqah Nāfilah and Lillāh funds (100% donation policy) can be contributed towards this cause. The impact your donation will have is phenomenal.
