Last year, my dad, was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) at just 58 years old.

Growing up, we built everything together in our garage. He taught me how to build things, solve problems and believe that with enough determination, you could build almost anything.

As his condition has progressed, I made the decision to move back home to support my mum and spend as much time with him as possible. I realised that if we were ever going to build the AC Cobra we'd always dreamed about, it had to be now.

Together, we're building the car in our home garage where we built projects throughout my childhood. Our goal is to have it running for my dad's 60th birthday on 27th October while documenting the entire journey to raise awareness of dementia.

This fundraiser is not to pay for the car. The build is being funded through our own money and the generous support of sponsors.

Every penny donated through this page will go directly to Race Against Dementia.
