‘The Big Sleep Out’ is a fundraising event held by the local homeless charity Launchpad, Reading. Their event encourages people to ‘sleep out’ at Reading Abbey or at home, to experience the trials of a homeless person, sleeping rough on the streets.

The Big Sleep Out at Bulmershe School has been designed to facilitate 20 year 9 students to sleep the night outside safely on the school premises.

It is a really great event, promoting awareness of homelessness.
