24 Hour Podcast · 1 July 2023

PoTS UK was founded by a group of healthcare professionals with PoTS who recognised the need to increase awareness of this condition. We are passionate about educating and supporting patients, family, friends and medical professionals about this widely unrecognised and misdiagnosed condition. We do this by sharing up to date evidence and resources. We also work with healthcare professionals and other charities in the UK and abroad, and advocate for our members by seeking better NHS services, more research, and targeted treatments for people with PoTS.

Story

Three years ago, James Willis and Jonas Gawe made a promise to their podcast audience, that they would, some day, stream a 24 hour long version of their talk-show. Let it be known that they keep their promises.

The 24 Hour Podcast in support of PoTS UK is a product of two friends who just never run out of things to say when it comes to their love of all things media. The Bunyip Review is a podcast in which James and Jonas review and discuss the Television Shows, Video Games and Films they’ve each experienced on a monthly basis. Through their own streaming efforts and this podcast they have integrated into a wonderful community of like-minded friends and streamers who share their passions and bring their own creative flavours to international audiences.

Join them on July 1st from 3pm as they stream non-stop for 24 hours. Throughout the stream they’ll:

- Review media just like they always do on the regular podcast! New listeners completely welcome!

- Be joined by their incredible network of friends and streamers, each one bringing a unique activity for Jonas and James to take part in!

- Eat food! A fed body is a healthy body!

- Raise money for PoTS UK, responding to milestones throughout the stream!

This is by far one of the biggest projects the two have ever planned together and you can get involved in a number of different ways! Share, watch, talk about, donate! Anything you can do to help the success of this stream would be amazing. Thank you for reading and getting involved!
