Help Us Raise Funds for a New Electric Door at Burwell Print Centre

Burwell Print Centre is raising money for Burwell Community Print Centre
Each day up to ten people with learning disabilities are supported and trained to provide quality printing and finishing services. They are involved in every aspect of BPC including customer service and using a range of Print Room machines and equipment. Also, they have representatives on Mgt Ctts.

Story

We're fundraising to replace the electric entrance door at Burwell Print Centre.

Our current door system has been in place since the building was first constructed in 1999. After more than 25 years of daily use, the original door mechanism is now wearing out, and the safety sensors are no longer working reliably. this is causing ongoing access issues and creating concerns around safety, accessibility, and security.

As a community-focused centre, we welcome people of all ages and abilities every day. A fully functioning automatic door is essential to ensure:

~ Safe and reliable access for everyone

~ Easy entry for wheelchair users and those with mobility challenges

~ Smooth operation during busy times of the day and events

~ A secure and energy-efficient entrance

Unfortunately, repairing the old door mechanism or obtaining a new sensor is no longer a viable long term solution. We now need to install a completely new electric door system to keep the centre accessible and safe for our Printers, staff, volunteers and customers.

Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and help us reach our target. if you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.

Thank you for supporting Burwell Print Centre and helping keep our doors open - safely and reliably - for years to come.
