Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We (Daniel & Aaron) are taking on the 55 Mile cycling challenge from London to Brighton on 14th September 2025 in memory of our Dad Mark and to raise funds for the PKD Charity.

PKD is a disease that effects around 70,000 people in the UK and the PKD Charity helps fund vital research to help those with the disease receive the best information and support. There is currently no known cure and the function of the kidneys is effected to the point where most people need a kidney transplant at some stage.

Mark was able to receive a transplant in April 2011 and had great support from the charity during that time.

Daniel has also inherited the disease and again the resources offered by the charity are a great support.

We chose a cycling challenge as cycling was one of our favourite things to do with our Dad. The cover photo was taken from Centre parcs where we'd spend most of the time riding through the woods!
